Summoned is completely created using Photoshop and a Wacom Intuous tablet. I made the piece for Evokeone's release titled "Nostalgia".

Case Study
Simple Gradient to start the piece.
Basic line work, this helped build the overall composition and facial features for the character.
Adding some detailing to the face to begin more building of the forms and lighting.
More hard brushing and building up forms.
At this point I was able to define the edges of the face and try and create a type of beveled edge for the head.
